Start with the exterior of your house, or your curb appeal. Examine the outside of your home from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What awesome features seem to fade into the background?
Knowing this helps us to choose what measures we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with retouched paint and bright garden plants we'll need to address those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Could a buyer see themselves lounging in your living area, unwinding in your reading nook or hosting a dinner in your dining room? I want your Open House to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of contentment. I'll help you do this by suggesting changes that enhance the features of your home.
I'll suggest that you reduce the effect of anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Tabletops should be free and clear. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get moved out of sight. I can help you simplify the decor of house. Less than inviting or messy spots make your home feel unkempt and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves living there.
Every area gets a once-over. Improvements that directly affect your sale price include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should get removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs changing, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Working together, we'll make sure your home has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, avoiding "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider borrowing furnishings. The goal is for your house to look inviting as opposed to vacated.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when to show your house, because all of the changes come together to paint a picture of what buyers can envision after they close on your house.
Brightening up your interior is of major importance, so we'll do things like part the curtains and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look around your home and assure a delightful aroma flows room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your couch and bed.
